"Sooperhero"
In a small, humble village, life revolves around simple joys and daily struggles. Pushpa, a kind and hardworking mother, stands in her modest kitchen, making neer dosas for her family. Her husband, Sesappa, a gruff man with a short temper, works tirelessly to provide for them. Their two sons, Keshava (fondly called Kechu) and Madhava, grow up in very different ways. Keshava, the older one, dreams big, gets into mischief, and comes up with clever schemes, while Madhava, the younger one, stays quiet and obedient, following the rules.
Keshava constantly finds ways to make a little money. With the help of his best friend Nagesh and his younger brother Madhava, he runs small businesses—selling chakkuli (a popular snack) while organizing makeshift film screenings for his friends. His cleverness gets him out of trouble too; he even tricks his school principal, Ramdas, to avoid punishment. But his antics often clash with his father’s strict ways, leading to frequent scoldings.
One day, Keshava proves his bravery when he saves two children, Punith and Kiran, from drowning in a nearby river. The village praises him, and Bhujanga, a wealthy local, commends his courage. Hoping to capitalize on the moment, Keshava tries to convince Bhujanga to gift him a mobile phone. Instead, he ends up with a pair of sunglasses from Prabhakar, which only fuels his father’s frustration.
But life takes a dark turn when Madhava suddenly goes missing. Desperate to find his brother, Keshava searches everywhere, and his journey leads him to Bangaragwamy Farms, a silk factory hidden away from the world. What he discovers there horrifies him—children are forced into labor under the watch of the cruel Aishwarya Bangaraswamy. The factory feels like a prison, and the children, like Sampath and Harsha, live in constant fear.
Determined to save his brother and the other children, Keshava hatches a daring plan. He befriends Narayana, a stern but conflicted worker at the farm, and appeals to his desire for a better life. With Narayana’s reluctant help, Keshava orchestrates a series of clever moves—sending secret messages to his parents through a local contact, Vicky.
The climax arrives when Keshava, with nerves of steel, sets fire to Aishwarya’s silk stock after siphoning fuel from her truck. The chaos exposes her illegal operations, and Narayana, moved by Keshava’s courage, finally sides with him. Together, they free Madhava and the other children and help them to escape the factory.
Back in the village, Keshava is hailed as a hero. His parents, Sesappa and Pushpa, embrace him with pride and relief, their hearts swelling with love for their brave son. The story ends on a hopeful note, with the children reuniting with their families, but it also sheds light on the grim reality of child labor in the silk industry.
Keshava’s journey becomes more than just a rescue mission—it turns into the story of a boy who believes in heroes, only to become one himself. Through his wit, courage, and unwavering love for his brother, Keshava proves that even the smallest among us can spark the biggest change.
